Location: 13 km south of Tulum direction Chetumal
Dive Site Fee fee: is in 2010 150 Pesos, receipt is available from Don Pablo, near market place
Maximum Depth: depends on rain fall, approx. 60 meter
Accessibility: 5 minute walk on path - and then - JUMP!
Bathroom: no
Exit: short rope
2010 - the decompression rope is gone- just bring your own if you need!

Best Dive: dependent on education- stay safe above the sulfate layer in 30 meters!

Specials:

depth up to 60 m with spectacular "hovering" hydrogen sulfate layer in 30-35 meters
surface to 30 m --> fresh water
salt water beneath
small cave in 16 meters, nice at end of dive
giant stalactite shows the entrance
visibility depends on season - best in winter
best time for video and foto is summer - you will find the sun in zenith above the sink
sorry, no artefacts any longer --> you find them in Mexico City
for completeness: Baccalar is deeper... you can reach 90 meter! (Blue Lagoon close to Chetumal)
